As Collete drove her best friend's car, now her own, frantically down the highway. Colllete hung up her cell phone, "Yeah, that was Fiona, she said that she'd love to help out, but she can't come until 12."
"Did you tell her about the medallion?" Josh asked, he didn't really look forward to seeing his ex-girlfriend, but he definitely didn't want her to know who was inside the body of his current girl.
"Oh yeah, I also told her we were abducted by aliens who kidnapped Jimmy Hoffa and Elvis." Collete replied, "Did I forget anything?"
John passed the medallion to Josh who was sitting uncomfortably in the back seat.
"Josh, do you see that jacket on the seat next to you?" Collete asked as she weaved through the late night traffic. Josh felt around and found a feminine black wool hacking jacket. He held it up for recognition, then he remembered whose jacket this way. "Good, now touch it to the medallion and you should be changed by the time my parents come."
Before he lost his manhood like that body he was dating, he just had to ask, "Um, why am I turning into Fiona Pierce?" John turned around to explain.
"Because Collete, I guess I, told her, my, whatever, mom that I was going to a sleep over at V's house with the girls. The lack of girls would probably be a little suspicious, don't you think?" John talked, growing to think of himself more of Collete than John.
"Exactly," the new V continued, "My mom knows Fiona is one of my best friends though, so use the jacket she left in the car and we'll give you some of V's pj's when we get to the house. "It might be kind of awkward for you, but please Josh, do this for me. I would have used someone else, but this is all we have."
"Here goes nothing then." Josh said as he pressed the jacket of the girl he dated before Collete onto the cold metal. He felt that shock that the others talked about and began adjusting himself for the change.
In the dim lighting Josh could hardly see anything, but he felt enough. His clothes were growing baggy in places and tight in others. He found himself shrinking in height from a cool 6'0" to a girlish 5'6". He felt something in his pants, he didn't really feel like learning what it was.
As the group walked into the empty house, Josh wobbled from his new center of gravity as he kept changing. Collete called her parents again to see how far away they were. Josh and John went to the bathroom to watch the rest of the changes.
It was surreal, Josh was, from the neck down at least, a perfect double for Fiona Pierce, the girl who broke up with him for a foreign exchange student named "Romeo Valencia". The two watched in amazement as Josh's rough features bloomed into Fiona's sweet English face and his hair uncurled and extended into dark thick black hair. Collete walked in moments later with some clothes.
"Hey, you look...wow. My parents just drove up. Are you guys all ready?"
Josh slipped into the pajamas that Collete threw quickly, embarrassed by her nudity, John didn't seem to mind it though. "Yeah," Josh said, the his expression changed, he still had his voice.
John burst into laughter, "Maybe you just shouldn't talk for a bit Fee."
The doorbell rang loudly, the gang gave each other a good look around and prepared themselves. They went downstairs and answered.
