"That's fine," she shrugged.
"It is?" Pete was wary. This was too easy! Girls weren't supposed to let things off like this!
"Yeah, sure. I mean, I guess I'd be mad, but I love you too much right now to care." Joan's rationale for it was quite logical, and Pete was relieved. He slipped his arm around her.
"So what next?" Pete asked.
"Well," Joanie said, "everyone but you and I thinks I've always been a girl. So that means we're at a disadvantage, because we have no memories of this reality. Of course, I'm not planning to forget my old life, but I might as well acclimate myself to this new one." Joan looked down at her breasts, "It's a pretty big change."
"I'd say!" joked Pete. They laughed together.
