The Genie Karyn and her Master (well, in a sense) Jon ran from the fearsome blue beast, barely dodging the great dragon's first lightning bolt. The pair began to feel the wind kicked up by the animal's great leathery wings, and Jon started to run faster. Karyn suddenly stopped and turned to the dragon.
"What are we doing? I'm a freaking Genie." When the dragon shot another bolt toward her, the Genie deflected the electricity around her body. She then raised her hand and spoke an Arabic phrase. The dragon was suddenly overpowered by gravity and he fell to the ground. The blue beast tried getting up, but even that was too difficult for him. The Genie spoke another phrase, and the now immobilized dragon turned to stone.
"That was pretty impressive, Karyn."
"Thanks, Master." She said pertly.
"I told you, you have free will. You have no master."
"And I told you that I still have a Genie's instincts."
Jon scratched his head. "All right, whatever. Now, we have to figure out what's going on here. I wish I knew where Zoe was."
"Your wish is my law, Master." Karyn said, and teleported Zoe to them. Except that Zoe wasn't quite like she used to be. Instead, she was about a foot tall and hovered in the air with little black wings and wore a black dress and purple striped tights.
"Jon!" she yelped in a pipsqeak voice. "Oh my god am I glad to see you. Things have been absolutely crazy the past few hours."
"Why? What's been happening?"
