Al shifted between the tables full of junk, all this crowding of people was not helping his hangover. He was about to give up on finding old new stuff to replace the entire house that he lost when a small box caught his eye. Some unknown force just demanded that he pick it up, so he did.
Inside the box was a worthless medallion, it looked completely ridiculous. Hell, Arthur would get a kick out of it, he loved worthless junk. Al didn't even see the note until after he paid the homely homemaker and took a closer look at the medallion on his brother's couch. There wa a note in sprawled excited handwriting:
"Hello fellow traveler!
This is your lucky day! Your luckiest day! Your red letter day!"
The letter went on to explain how this trinket supposedly worked, load of bull that just added to the gag. This was obviously written by some crackpot. But the concept still excited Al. This could be the way to solve all his problems, at least the kind that he raved about when he was drunk. He decided to test the medallion.
The endless golden opportunities overwhelmed Al, with this medallion he could get the money and house that was rightfully his back. He could figure out how to land and keep a girl satisfied, he could make some amazing business propositions. Just the idea, to become anyone he wanted, this was the moment that Al was waiting for, he could turn his life around, he could turn Arthur's life around too. Women DID hold all the power in a relationship after all, but what path would he choose?
