"But there's...there's more," Karyn continued to cry. "I'm dating Steve Faber!"
Jon was shocked. Steve Faber was one of the idiotic stereotypes that populated the football team. He was also a well known playboy who only dated cheerleaders.
"Wait a minute," Jon said. "Does that mean?"
"It does!" Karyn wailed. "I'm a cheerleader. Sarah's in most of the pictures in my room now. I think I must be one of her groupies now."
Jon wasn't sure what to say. He knew that if he had some time, he could think of a way out of this situation. Most of these changes were an indirect result of her botched wish, so they could hopefully be undone.
"It'll be okay, Karyn," Jon said soothingly. "Why don't you come over and we can think of a way out of this?"
Karyn agreed and hung up, which gave Jon about 20 minutes to think up an answer to these new and unexpected problems. There were so many little things to deal with; her grades, her apparent new history, her after school activities, and her boyfriend.
But what problem did Jon think needed changing the most?
