Jon held the die between his fingers. It was the one that had to do with... jobs.
"Jobs?"
"Yeah. Everyone would have or be training for the same occupation."
Karyn looked at him askance. "That's not really like everyone being the same, though."
"Maybe we won't look alike, but we'll all be doing the same thing and have the same interests. You can pick something else, if you don't want this."
"No, it's okay."
She looked at it. There was one job on each side, six all together: Maid, Sports Player, Teacher, Plumber, Cosmetoligist and Random.
Karyn was a bit confused by the last one. "Random?"
"everybody will be a different occupation"
"Okay. Well, isn't that what we already do!"
"well yeah but everybody will have different ones"
"well... one more thing"
"What?"
"What happens if someone gets hurt and dies because all the doctors are busy stripping or cleaning floors or something? Or firemen? Or police?"
"Hmmm - good point. Okay, wait." Jon picked up the rock. "I wish that while the effects of these dice were in force, that no one would be seriously harmed or killed because of them." The rock flashed. "Better?"
"Better. OK, here I go, then." She rolled the die across the floor and it landed on...
