"I wish that Jon would change so that the lower half of his body is just like Sarah's, until he no longer wants it to be that way."
Jon seemed to be standing a little differently, and the shape of his hips seemed wider and his legs narrower, but the wishes that night to swap body halves had excluded clothes, and it seems they were continuing to do so. Karyn also thought she didn't see a bulge between Jon's legs, bit it was hard to really see the full effect of the wish.
"Whew," said Jon. "That's a relief. Let me see to be sure..." He leaned against a wall and raised his leg, then rolled up the pants. Under it was a smooth leg just like Sarah's.
"But it wasn't that way. The whole thing is a bad wish," said Karyn.
"Oh, come on now," said Jon. "No it's not." Jon spotted Steve and walked over. "Hey, Steve!" he said.
"Yeah, babe?"
"Tell Karyn, am I a guy or a girl?"
"Well, unless something happened to you you're a girl where it counts, even though you look and sound like a guy."
"See?" said Jon.
"Look, Jon," said Karyn, "this is temporary. If you really want to be the old Jon again, you'll change back."
"Why would I want to do that? Anyway, Karyn, the dance is just about over. All the crossdressing wishes are going to wear off. Let's watch."
"I know that," said Karyn.
Later, Karyn and Jon were walking home, but Karyn just couldn't convince Jon to change back. What was she going to do?
