When Jon awoke he raised his hand to his head and groaned,
"What?" He exasperated.
His clothing had become less, it was woolen and a distinctive green and red tartan was all over. His shirt felt coarse and rough. The air around him was full of a dark pungent smoke.
He observed his surroundings. There was little light drifting in from a hole in the roof, a small fire burning in the middle of the room and hay on the floor.
Having a good degree of intelligence on him he surmised.
Since modern Scotland was part of the UK, he had travelled to when it was last a nation, the 18th century...
Raising himself quickly he darted out of the hut and saw.....
