Karyn rolled the die across the floor and it came up as Sarah McMillan.
Suddenly, Jon's entire bedroom changed, becoming more and more like Sarah's. Well, a male version of Sarah's anyway. He didn't know for sure, but Jon suspected that Karyn's bedroom had changed too. As well as every other bedroom in the entire town. Everyone now had Sarah's personality, so they had her tastes and distastes. Whether that was fashion, decor, music, or whatever.
Jon looked down at himself and saw that he was wearing a more upscale version of his T-shirt and jeans. And his shirt was pink. None of it was female clothing, but guys don't usually go around wearing pink T-shirts.
Fashion-wise, Karyn looked almost like a clone of Sarah. Jon wondered if all the girls and women in town dressed exactly the same. He snickered to himself, wondering what his sister Zoe would be like in this new reality. Given the fact that she's Goth and a non-conformist, she would never accept this new life. But, of course, this was a new reality, and so, a new Zoe existed in it.
"Come on," Jon said. "I want to check out this new reality."
"Can we do it fast?" Karyn asked. "America's Top Model is on tonight. I don't want to miss it."
Jon stopped for a moment. Since when did Karyn watch America's Top Model? But as he pondered that, he felt an increasing desire to watch it himself. He wondered if it had something to do with having Sarah's personality.
