Jon's body was engulfed in an eerie white light.
It wasn't exactly painful, but it wasn't nice either. Like having pins and needles all over his body.
As quickly as it had appeared the light vanished again and Jon looked down at his changed body. Where moments before there had been a teenage boy there now stood the leggy pop star Gwen Stefani.
Jon's plain T-shirt, jeans and sneakers had morphed into a tight ladies shirt, a pair of short shorts and five-inch stiletto heels.
Blonde hair now reached down to his shoulders and a multitude of bangles and bracelets adorned his arms.
"Oh my God" said Jon in his new unfamiliar voice "This is amazing. Karen you've got to try this".
