Diane Richards put on her maternity robe and admired herself in the mirror. She closed her eyes while she carresed her large stomach. She was nine months pregnant and on maternity leave from her job at the high school.
She came down the stairs to find her husband in the kitchen. He was sitting at the table drinking coffe and reading the paper. Unlike her, Nick was only four months pregnant. His belly was just barely bulging under his teaching clothes.
Nick looked up at her and smiled. He set his paper down and stood up to give her a good morning hug. He un-did her rope just enough so that her belly was showing. After leanding down to kiss it he said goodbye and left for work.
Diane made herself some coffe and went into the living room to watch some TV.
