"We don't have to go out of town, Karyn," said Jenny.
"Of course we do," she replied. "There aren't any boys here!"
"Why don't we wish some up?" said Jenny.
"We can't wish for anyone," said Karyn. "You wished to transform people, remember? Wishes can't be reversed."
"I can't wish to transform anyone," said Jon, "but I can wish for new people to exist who didn't exist before. I know I said 'everyone in town' but it could mean 'everyone who was in town at the time the dice were rolled'."
"Can the stone create life?" asked Karyn.
"Well, we were pretty much assuming it could, or we wouldn't have pregnancy listed on the dice."
"Hmm," said Karyn. "But that's dangerous. If we create new people we don't want to kill them, so they have to exist after the wish is over. And they have to fit into reality, so you could end up giving yourself a new neighbor or a brother or something and they'll stay that way."
"I don't want to argue, Karyn. I've got a unique opportunity here. I know I didn't roll up 'lustful', but that doesn't mean I have no desires at all. I want to know what it's like to have a boyfriend. Maybe even have sex. So I wish that there would be a new boy here, who is my boyfriend."
