She rolled the die across the floor and it came up as ... Sarah McMillan.
They looked up at each other as their bodies morphed into the physical likeness of Sarah McMillan.
But, apparently, that's where the likeness stopped.
"I don't feel any different," said Karyn, who now looked like Sarah wearing Karyn's clothes.
"Well I do," said Jon, looking over his new body.
"Yeah, but do you feel like you have Sarah's personality?"
"No, I don't. That's weird. I thought that everyone would act like Sarah, not just look like her."
There was a knock at the door. "Jon?" It was his mom.
Jon got up (swaying a bit, as he was not used to walking around in a girl's body) and answered the door.
His mom looked like Sarah. Only ... it was an older Sarah. "Jon. You and Karyn better get going."
"Right. Um, thanks mom."
He closed the door and turned to Karyn. "It looks like everyone stayed themselves, but looks like Sarah. My mom is still older, but she has Sarah's body. I suppose that that's what Sarah will look like when she's in her late 30's. Weird."
"Let's see how everyone else changed."
They grabbed their backpacks and left Jon's bedroom.
