Jenny went outside. She couldn't drive and the busses weren't operating after the wreckage of the last 12 hour orgy, so she had to walk. Passing other women in the street, she finally came across a 6 year old girl with a haunted expression on her face.

Karyn had clasped her hand over Jon's mouth. "Jon!" she exclaimed. "If you did something wrong, making a hasty wish is a sure way to do something more wrong. Don't do it!"
Jon nodded, and Karyn took her hand off.
Then Jon said "I had a ham sandwich." The sandwich appeared in front of him, finishing the unfinished wish.
"What were you going to say?" asked Karyn.
"I wanted to make up for what I did."
"So what did you do?"
"I saw a child and then I realized that..."
Karyn's eyes widened in horror as she realized it too.
"Jon, this is wrong," she said.
"Do you want to make a wish?" he asked.
"We really should. But we do need to think about it. And I'm not sure what to do except wipe memories."
"I already did that," replied Jon. "But I still did what I did, even if nobody remembers."
They talked it over and decided what to do. Jon held the stone and said "I wish that...."
