Exiting the car, The Family heads into the mall, Jon immediately noticed that the trip itself wasn't the interesting part. the mall itself was going to be interesting, he wasn't sure how but he knew as soon as they passed the Cheeseburger Laboratory rather than the Cheesecake Factory.
As they exited the heat and entered the air conditioned mall, Jon saw more strange stores. Instead of a Forever 21 and Books-a-Million, he passed a Sometimes 19, and a Novels-by-Thousands.
From the entryway the stores seemed exactly the same, Maybe that's all this was, stores had new names... that was sort of interesting he guessed, but he was worried there was more going on.
"I'll be in Scorching Subject, Zoe said breaking off from the group.
Jon paused to run the name through his head before realizing it was obvious, it was practically the only store she went to, Hot Topic.
Jon did a double take when he saw one store though the other stores just had funny names, But Clarke's... obviously a swap for Claire's, normally a store for young to teenage girls, but Clarke's was a boys name... and the images out front normally, cartoon images of stylish girls, now had boys... or atleast it seemed, they had short hair, but otherwise dressed the same as the girl's had
As he saw more stores, he found more and more stores had new clientelle.
