She rolled the die across the floor and it came up as ... 100 pounds.
The effect was immediate. Both Karyn and Jon felt lighter, lighter, and lighter as the pounds dropped off of them. But soon it was going too far. They were never meant to be 100 pounds. It was too thin. They looked bony.
"I don't think I like this, Jon. I can see my ribs," Karyn said.
"Yeah, me too. But it won't be so bad if we keep our clothes on."
"Right. Of course. Maybe this won't be so bad."
Jon checked his watch. It was time to go to school. "Come on, Karyn. We've gotta go."
When they grabbed their backpacks, Karyn said "You won't believe this, but I actually want to have a few more pounds."
Checking himself out, Jon replied "I believe you." And they left.
