Seeing the car heading towards town, Fred stepped out into the road, hoping to stop the car.
Fortunately, the driver saw him and stopped the car.
"What the hell?" the teen driver said. "Get out of the road!"
"You can't go into town," Fred said, as he ran up to the car.
"Why not?"
"Well, it's hard to explain. My son ..." He pointed towards Will, who was sitting on a large rock on the other side of the city limits "line".
"What about him?"
"He's sick."
The teens (two guys and two girls) looked at Will, with some skepticism. "He doesn't look sick to me," said one of the two girls in the car.
"He's been changed. Just as soon as he stepped over the city limits. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. I saw it happen myself."
"Whatever, man," the driver said. He started to hit the accelerator.
"Stop!" Fred yelled.
The driver stopped suddenly. "What's wrong with you?"
"I said, you'll become like my son if you enter the town."
"Yeah, whatever," the other girl said. She got out of the car and walked over to where the "welcome to our town" sign was. As she walked past the sign, she became a Goth. She turned around and said "See? Nothing happened."
The other teens were shocked.
