Starting as a hero... powerless

I woke up on Saturday, and left the house to go take a walk at the local park. I wished up an unbreakable small box in which to put the stone, which also could only be opened by me. I knew that I was going to get powers soon, and decided to leave the stone back at home. As I was walking, I came across a mugger holding an old woman at gun point! I ran right to him and tackled him to the ground, where he dropped his gun.
“Someone! Hey! Call the cops! I’ve got this guy on the ground!” I yelled out, seeing other people in the park with me. The old lady stood there, and kicked the crook in the face.
About 6 minutes later, a cop car came by with two officers and arrested the mugger. After a bit of questions from the cops, I was free to go. “Young man, you’re a real hero, you know?” I was asked by the cop. Other people from the park said similar things, and did it feel amazing. The old lady who had almost been mugged offered me money, but I declined. Being a good person what it’s own reward. I couldn’t wait to tell Karen, though!
