Jon woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. He had actually slept surprisingly well, despite all of the worries from his errant wish the night before. During the night, he had a couple of dreams about possible situations that could occur from the wish, but they were all pretty ridiculous and by the time Jon had woken up he had forgotten all about them.
Sliding out of bed, Jon slowly made his way over to his wardrobe where he absentmindedly picked out a pair of underwear, jeans and a t-shirt. Although he had slept well, Jon was still waking up a bit otherwise he would have noticed the change in his underwear.
After crossing the hallway into the bathroom that Jon shared with his siblings, Jon dropped his clothes on the floor and took a shower. It was only after he had finished, stepped out and dried off that Jon finally noticed that something was wrong.
“What the…?” Jon questioned, trailing off as he picked up the lacy thong that he had thought had been his underwear. “How did this get in here?” He asked holding up the thong between his fingers and at an arm's length away. Looking at the feminine garment with a mixture of confusion and horror, Jon was startled by a sudden knock on the door.
“Jon?” It was his sister Zoe. “Are you about done in there?” She asked sounding a little irritated.
“Um, sure.” Not wanting to be seen with a thong in his hand. Jon quickly grabbed a towel, wrapping it around his waist whilst bundling up the thong and hiding amongst his clothes before hurrying back to his bedroom.
Closing the door behind him, Jon dropped his clothes on the floor along with the offending thong and quickly opened his underwear drawer intending to find a replacement for the thong which he still wasn’t sure how it had gotten there. Unfortunately, though, the only thing that Jon found in that drawer was more thongs and other “girlie” underwear.
“How…?” Jon questioned again trailing off. His first thought that somebody, maybe his sister, was playing a prank on him but then he remembered his wish from last night. Sighing, Jon picked up the stone.
“I wish that I had all of my original underwear.” Jon expected the stone to glow as an indication of his wish being granted but nothing happened.
“What the hell?” Jon exclaimed, looking at the rock. Why didn’t his wish work?
“Jon! Breakfast is ready!” His mother called. He had been so focused on his problem that he hadn’t realised what the time was.
“Ok! I’ll be down in a sec,” Jon replied. Not sure what was going on with the stone or his underwear Jon quickly wished up a pair of boxers. That seemed to work as a pair of boxers appeared in his hand. Jon then proceeded to get dressed and then went to get some breakfast.
