When Jon went home, he was bored. He was like a kid in a candy store, sure, with the wishing stone at his disposal, but he had no idea what he really wanted. Money? Fame? Sex? Revenge? It was all his for the wishing, but the problem was he didn't want any of it. Plus, no matter where he looked for wishes, he only saw the potential for problems. He particularly didn't want to say something that could result in somebody's life being ruined.
Overwhelmed, Jon turned to his father's old record collection he'd left behind, and looked through the old albums by Supertramp, the Animals and the Rolling Stones, from the 60's and 70's. Nostolgic, Jon almost wished his Dad would come back, but instead said:
"Boy, I wish vinyl never went away."
Just like that, he turned around and saw his CD collection morph into a bulky selection of LP's and .45's.
"Oh, right. The stone," he hit his head and laughed. What a stupid wish! He then thought to himself... what other completely pointless and utterly absurd wishes could he make, that wouldn't change anything of note?
He glanced around the room...
