"Jon, I wish you'd tell me what's going on here," Zoe said.
All of a sudden, Jon stopped in his tracks and opened his mouth. For the next five to ten minutes, Jon explained everything that he had done with the stone. Every single thing, from turning Bart Stevens into a slut named Barbi all the way to messing around with Karyn's body.
Zoe was stunned. She looked down at the stone and thought What could I wish for? She looked back up and saw her brother moving towards her again.
"I wish that you would stop walking."
The stone flashed white and when the light cleared, she saw that Jon was in a wheelchair. Apparently, the wishes were taken quite literally.
"Oops."
Jon looked down at himself. He tried moving his legs, but they were paralyzed. "What the hell?" He looked back up at Zoe with unbelief in his eyes. He closed his eyes and whispered something to himself, then he opened them. "You're still the same! Why isn't it working?"
Zoe wondered herself. Was she immune to Jon's wishes and "unlimited" power?
"I wish to know why Jon can't affect me with his power."
