Jon kept right on walking and kept on whistling, without a care to the world. He felt power the likes of which he had never felt before, and wondered if this was what the kings on high that the history folk kept talking about felt like way back when.
As he turned around, he saw the instant downer to his day. Principal Masters was walking his way, no doubt about ready to accuse Jon of some malcontent. Not that that was entirely incorrect, but still.
"Jon," Principal Masters said in a sarcastic tone. "Keeping out of trouble I hope."
"Oh you know sir," Jon returned, with a smirk crossing his face, "the usual stuff."
"Why aren't you in class son?" the Principal asked.
"None of your damn business....Eddie." Jon knew that would set him off, he was just looking for a way to push the button of the principal, something to justify his next action.
"Why you...you....young punk hooligan. You come with me...I don't care if you are rich or not you're getting suspended for this lack of..." the sentence was never finished. Eddie Masters suddenly found himself unable to speak.
"What's that sir...I can't quite make out what you're saying?" Jon laughed as the Principal tried to yell, but no sound came out of his mouth.
"You know, you remind me of a little whiny bitch a lot of times. In fact, I think that's exactly what you are..."
Principal Masters again tried to yell, but nothing came out except the slightest whimper. Quickly he doubled over in pain as all his clothes vanished. He opened his eyes and saw in horror as brown fur started to grow all over his body. He also lost a lot of bodymass, as he shrunk down smaller and smaller, all the while his ears perking up and his face elongating into a snout. A small tail popped out of his rearend, as his hands and feet turned into paws. Before long, the principal had been transformed into a female chihuahua.
"Gives new meaning to the word Aye Caramba, doesn't it Eddie....or is that Edie now?" Jon smiled and clutched the rock in his hand, as he walked off. The dog, not knowing what else to do, just wandered aimlessly until it found its way outside.
And off in the distance, Karyn watched it all happen...
