Eric went through the arbitrary procedure of reading the instructions for the medallion. He then set about coming up with a plan for a costume that would wow everyone.
He could be anyone with just a sample of their clothing. The trick was to be able to reveal who he was at the end. He became curious about the mention of partial transformations.
What if he changed everything but his face and wore a mask?
That still left him in search of a body.
He went to his room and started looking online.
He overheard his 19 year old sister getting yelled at by their parents.
"But mom! It's haloween. A show girl costume doesn't make me a slut."
"You are not going out of the house in that. That is final."
Eric heard her stomp up the stairs and stepped out to see her.
"Holy shit sis!"
"Oh, I guess you don't think I can pull this off either." She struck a pose, Eric never before noticed how well built his sister was.
"You look amazing. Go change it freaks me out."
She stopped dead and felt awkward at her little brother saying that.
"Yeah, me too."
When she went in her room, Eric smiled.
The next morning he dug the show girl costume out of the trash. "This will put everyone in shock when I tell them I'm wearing a body suit."
The evening of the party he was the last one home. It was perfect. He got naked in the bathroom and looked over the instructions for a partial transformation one more time. They were vague but this would be killer if it worked.
He pulled out the medallion and reached for the costume.
