Karyn stood just outside her high school, waiting for Jon to show up with the rock. She felt terrible, and imagined she looked worse than she felt. She hadn't been able to sleep with the watermelons she had accidentally gotten on her chest as a result of yesterday's errant wish, and she hoped Jon had come up with a way to fix this problem. She looked down the ways on the road, seeing a black Hummer coming that way, but no Jon on the sidewalk. Apparently he was running late.

That's when the black hummer came to a slow stop next to her and the window rolled down. Karyn was shocked to see Jon sitting in the driver's seat, or what looked like an older, muscled out version of Jon, dressed in Sean John wear, with his hair spiked up. But somehow, she knew it was Jon.

"What the....you used the rock didn't you!" Karyn accused, already knowing the answer.

"Of course I used the rock, you think I'm not gonna use that power?" Jon reached over and opened the door for Karyn. "Wanna go for a ride?"

"What about school?" Karyn asked quizzically. Actually, she was overcome with feelings of wanting to go for a ride with him, but was trying to find a way out of it.

"Oh we'll take care of that." Jon reached into his pocket and held onto something in there. "I wish that time would simply stop, but that it wouldn't hurt anyone or anything in anyway." Karyn looked around, and saw that cars coming the opposite direction had suddenly stopped dead in their tracks. A kid was about to get off the bus, had one foot in the air to step down, and had just stopped mid-step. She looked back at Jon, who was still looking at her with a smile on his face, and she got into the car.

They drove down the road for a few minutes before Karyn finally spoke up. "How come I didn't freeze. You didn't say not to freeze me." Jon just chuckled.

"I gave myself the power to reverse or amend any wish that the rock grants. I figure I can't use the rock to change anything, but that doesn't prevent ME from changing anything." Karyn looked down, quiet for a second, and got a bright idea.

"Any wish the rock makes?" She asked, hopeful. Jon sighed and then went back to driving. Karyn looked discouraged, but then felt her chest deflate from the boats she was carrying to a much more manageable C-cup. "Thank you," she replied, and smiled at Jon.

They drove around for what was actually several hours, but amounted to nothing in real time, before coming back to the school. During that time, Jon told Karyn of his plans to use the rock's power to right wrongs, after he had of course fixed up himself and his family for the rest of their lives.

"Just be careful," Karyn warned him. "You know what they say about absolute power."

"I know," Jon said, rolling his eyes. He pulled into a parking spot at school, and then willed his previous wish about time to be reversed. Everyone started moving again, as if nothing had happened.

As they walked into school, Jon kept the rock firmly in his pocket. Karyn just walked along silently next to him, until she noticed that no one seemed to be noticing the now gargantuan Jon. Somehow, she knew that she was speical, and that only she noticed a difference. It made her feel good.

They both turned the corner to go to their lockers, when they saw the usual sight. Clyde McGruder and Bart Stevens were picking on some poor freshman girl, trying to coax her out of lunch money or something. Karyn just shook her head and started to walk away, when she saw Jon, who was standing there looking at them, a sly smile starting to creep across his face...
