Suddenly, Athena's pendant necklace began glowing again, causing her to push her new sister away.
"What's wrong?" her sister asked, noticing the odd look on Athena's face.
Athena looked around and then looked at Dan (or whatever her name was now), trying to find what had changed, but this time, it didn't seem like anything was different. She sighed, then said "Nothing."
"So, do you think it's, like, a good idea to tell Moms?"
"What?" Athena asked, her attention grabbed by what Dan said. "Did you say ... Moms?"
"Yeah, both our moms. Do you think I should tell them that I'm pregnant?"
Athena was out the door and in the living room nearly in a flash. When she went to Dan's bedroom earlier, her mom and dad were in sitting on the living room sofa. Right now, her mom was still there ... but her dad was gone, replaced by another woman. And her mom was cuddling with this other woman. Could it be that ... no ... no, it couldn't be, could it? Her father had turned into a woman? And now, what? They were both married lesbians or something? She shook her head, trying to wrap her mind around that.
Then her pendant necklace began to glow again, meaning another change was happening ... somewhere.
