Eric and Keith walked out of the lab and into the street, looking around to see if anything seemed different.
"Everything looks okay to me." Eric said.
"Yeah, me too," Keith replied. After a minute, with no changes, Keith turned to Eric. "I'm bored. Let's go inside."
They both went into the house, and up to Eric's room.
"I have to show you something," Eric said to Keith. He went to the closet, and pulled out a beautiful white wedding dress.
"Oh my god, Eric. It's beautiful!"
"I know! It's perfect. I can't wait to walk down the aisle next weekend. It's something I've dreamed of my whole life. And you're going to look stunning in that bridesmaid dress." Eric looked ad his watch, a slender gold one that probably cost a small fortune.
"Oh, Keith. It's almost two o'clock."
"We've got to get to the salon," Keith said. Eric hung up the dress, and the two went over to the mirror. Keith adjusted the straps of his green dress, while Eric made sure his short-sleeved baby-blue blouse was tucked into his skirt just right. They touched up their makeup, and threw on their shoes, Keith a pair of green stiletto sandals, Eric some open-toed pumps, and made their way downstairs.
"There's nothing like an afternoon mani-pedi, right Eric."
"You said it," Eric said as the two got into Eric's BMW convertible and drove off, glad that everything was as it should be.
