After the hot performance of the Cheerteasers, Narayanne decided that the show must go on. And as she willed it, it happened.
“Thank you for that little intermezzo, you were lovely. Give it up for the Cheerteasers!”, Carly yelled, and the audience screamed, wooed, and cheered. “Next comes one of our most anticipated game, where the audience decides what’s going to happen. Time for “Money or Change”! Please welcome our contestant, Peter Playth!”
A young man, not older than 25, entered the stage, waving into the cameras.
“Welcome, Peter!”, Carly cheered.
“Thank you for having me!”, the young man replied.
“You know the drill. You see here 30 little boxes, numbered from 1 to 30. Each of those contains either a money prize, reaching from 0.01 to 10.000 bucks, or nothing. If a money prize is inside, you get to keep it; if nothing is inside, a transformation is in order. The clue: every time a transformation occurs, the audience decides via a voting device from a pool of 4 options what it’s going to be! And without further ado, THE GAME IS ON!!!!, Carly yelled, and the audience went wild.
“So, Peter, what is your pick?”, the showmistress asked.
“I think I start with my personal lucky number: 13”
“And number 13 is … a money prize. But only 0.01 bucks! Talk about luck!” Carly exclaimed. “What next?”
“I go with number 1 then!”, Peter decided.
“Ah, trying to go in order, aren’t we? Let’s see, number 1 is … EMPTY!!!”, Carly shouted, and the audience wooed and cheered. “That means, dear audience, please take your little voting device under your seats. And remember: To make it exciting, the options are often cryptic or not what you think.
The first transformation is about hair. These are your options:
a) Blood has been spilled
b) Rainbows are cute
c) Space is scary
d) Stereotypes are fun
What is your choice?
