On the screen, they saw Jon taking off his clothes and putting on his mother's, first her underwear and then a top and skirt and then heeled shoes that Jon's feet didn't quite fit into. Karyn took off her clothes and put on Jon's father's underpants and socks. And then, a T-shirt and jeans.
After getting dressed, they looked at each other, with questioning looks on their faces.
Karyn said "Jon! Why are you wearing your mother's clothes?"
Then Jon said "Karyn? What are you doing in my bedroom? And why are you wearing my husband's clothes?"
Eric looked at Keith, puzzled. "How come they're acting like that?"
Keith thought about how Eric worded his wish and said "You didn't wish that Jon would think that Karyn is Jon's father and that Karyn would think that Jon is Jon's mother."
"Oh. Boy, you have to be really specific with this thing, don't you?"
They looked back at the screen. "Maybe you should add that to your wish," Keith suggested. "They look like they're getting pretty upset."
Eric wondered if he should or not. After all, this was just an experiment. Jon and Karyn would just change back eventually, anyway. So, what would be the harm? Of course, Keith had a point. He didn't want to see them both losing their minds, unless he wished for it.
