When Linda Masters returned to the wishing well, she saw a sign proclaiming that the well was closed.
After all, despite all of the trouble between Linda and her husband, neither of them had wanted to suck The Stud's dick, even though that wish covered the whole town.
Because Jon had finally managed to reverse the wish--"I wish that everyone wanted to suck The Stud's dick--that is, they wanted it in the past, but not any longer". Realizing that he couldn't possibly fix every single wish, Jon fixed a couple of the worst ones and then changed the well. Technically, he destroyed it and replaced it by a different one, rather than changing it (since changing it would reverse a wish), but basically, he changed the well.
So when Linda approached the well again, she found a sign. "This wishing well is so dangerous that I've closed it. But I've left an exception. If you've already made a wish and sincerely want to fix it, I'll let you try the best you can. Just toss your coin in and make another wish normally. Note that I said 'try'. You can't truly reverse a wish, but you may be able to figure out a way to wish away the worst of the effects. --Your Anonymous Benefactor"
Linda tossed a penny in and did a test. "I wish a ten foot tall tree would grow right next to the well." Nothing happened. So the well was indeed closed. Yet the note did say she could make a wish if it was to fix another wish.
Feeling bad about taking away her husband's penis, Linda tossed another penny in and said "I wish..."
