"You weren't long." Karyn said as both Jon's reappeared.
ARD Jon let go of DTH Jon's hand and put the briefcase on the bed.
"Is that it?" she asked.
ARD Jon carefully rubbed his hands along the metal frame of the briefcase. Ignoring her question, he told her "I'm taking nothing for granted this time."
He pressed down on the buttons, the catches released and the case's spring loaded lid popped open revealing it's contents. "Wow," Karyn uttered "a million dollars!"
ARD Jon ran his hands over the cash. "Yes it's actually real. At least I hope it's real."
DTH Jon picked up a stack of notes. He looked through them and pulled one out, holding it up to the light. "They appear to be the genuine article." DTH Jon told him.
DTH Jon opened the cupboard and pulled out a small backpack.
"What are you doing with that?"
"I need something to put this in," DTH Jon told him pointing at the cash "I've ran out of pockets."
DTH Jon put the cash into the backpack.
"Hey! That's my money and my backpack as well!" ARD Jon protested.
"Well it occurred to me that it might be an idea to take some of the money for expenses in our travels. I don't know what you are so upset about. You are still 990,000 dollars richer thanks to me and you could buy a thousand backpacks if you so desired."
"Ok, Ok, I get the point...," ARD Jon thought for a moment "...hey wait a minute, why didn't I just wish for a million dollars?" he asked himself.
"Well you could have," DTH Jon's expression changed to a grin "but where's the fun in that?"
ARD Jon tilted his head in agreement with the amusing answer.
DTH Jon's expression changed back to a more serious one. "Besides I'm not entirely convinced that wishes made on the stone are entirely trustworthy."
Karyn grabbed the backpack out of DTH Jon's hands. "You're not entirely trustworthy sometimes either, so I'll be in charge of this."
ARD Jon chuckled. "She got you good, dude."
DTH Jon rolled his eyes at this. "Ok. Fair point. Now on to the next part."
ARD Jon looked confused. "What next part?"
"The main reason we came here. I need you to create another alternate reality for me."
