Jon stood there teetering on his new heels for nearly a minute, racking his brain to think of a solution. The rock was gone, in his pocket. In the magazine. Nothing to do but make the best of it. He jumped on his bed, leaning on his hands on his windowsill and looking outside, not noticing his ass up in the air or the cleavage he presented to anyone who looked up into his upstairs bedroom. Two boys walked by outside, engrossed in a chat Jon couldn't hear. One of them was somewhat chubby, the other tall and skinny.
With a thought, they were wearing each other's clothes; neither was a particularly good fit, and they immediately noticed. The cursing coming from both of them was clearly heard by Jon, and probably everyone in the neighborhood, as they both raced off rather uncomfortably, waddling or picking their pants up every two steps. Before they'd gotten past his house he spotted a middle-aged woman who lived across the street, and swapped the woman's knee-length pencil skirt onto the chubby boy, and the woman's short, styled brown hair onto the other; his own blond hair was nearly shaved, and spiked up.
A chubby boy wearing a too-tight shirt and a skirt next to a boy in baggy pants with a rather feminine hairstyle walked towards the woman across the street, hoping to get some sort of answer from her. Meanwhile, Jon smiled, imagining the tall boy's parents' reactions when their son came home with a perm and a new hair color.
