Jon browsed the comics looking for something that sparked his interest, but soon a nagging sense of discomfort settled on him. Of all the female characters in the books, few if any were shown in a flattering light. He started to feel uncomfortable at how they were illustrated, especially the ones on the covers. His hand slipped into his pocket and he subconsciously fingered the stone.
"I wish comics wouldn't exploit female superheroes so much," he muttered, "I wish male heroes were exploited in this way to balance it out."
As his eyes blurred he realised what he'd just said and gulped, wondering what changes it would make.
