It was Karyn. Jon quickly got out of view, thinking. Meanwhile Karyn walked away, and no doubt was going to ring the bell soon.
Jon yelled "Hold it!" and began to get up. His balance was terribly wrong and he could barely walk. He made it down the stairs and opened the door. Karyn stood there and was about to greet Jon when she gaped at his pregnant belly. "You... Just hold on. Jon, you used the stone, didn't you? You messed something up. Because you look like a pregnant girl.
"I guess that answers that question. People remember it's changed. I sort of did, Karyn, but not in the way you think. Lemme explain."
They made it to Jon's room and he sat down on his bed. "It's reversible, I think. I wished that I could swap body parts by thinking about them. First I swapped half of Mom with a porn magazine."
"You what? Which half?"
"I told you. And the bottom half, clothes only."
"That's ridiculous."
"She didn't notice. Then I saw her and I accidentally swapped again. Now I had Mom's bottom half with the porn model's clothes. It was gross to have Mom's bottom half, so I tried to at least make it younger. I wished to make it younger, from before I was born." He pointed to his pregnant belly. "This was definitely before I was born."
"The whole thing is a little gross," said Karyn, "but doesn't that, I don't know, change history? The younger you in there..." She pointed to Jon's belly. "...was taken out of history and brought to now. So you never existed."
"I didn't change history, I just wished the parts were younger."
"Oh. Well, you're in a mess."
"How so?" The moment he said that, of course, Jon realized he could think of a lot of ways.
"First of all, you're pregnant. With someone called Jon. Second, your mom is wandering around with your bottom half. I remember your change, so everyone remembers her change. People will think it's really weird. Third, when you wished the parts were younger, well now if you swap back with your mom, she still has younger parts."
"That's not too bad," said Jon. "It doesn't hurt her and I can wish nobody notices."
"Fourth, what happened to the porn model? You know, women who do porn are still people."
"I don't even know it it affected her. It affected a magazine."
"If you swapped with a magazine you were lucky it didn't just turn half your body into paper. And you know, you could have avoided most of this very easily?"
"Come on, Karyn. Okay, if I hadn't wished for the swap power, it wouldn't have happened, but what's the point of a wishing stone if I don't make wishes?""
"I don't mean that. Why didn't you wish that your mom was back home for just long enough for you to swap?"
