Jon picked up the stone out of the box and put it in his pocket.
"What are you doing, Jon?" asked Karyn.
"I need to go do something first." He started walking towards the front of the store and then turned around. "Karyn, you come with me."
"Um, okay."
They both left the store and made their way to the police car that was still parked in the parking lot. Jon pulled the stone out of his pocket and said "I wish ..."
