As Karyn looked over the map Jon heard something in the tree near them. He looked over at it to see that something was in it. A dagger then came out of the tree and hit the map in the center making it unreadable. Someone jumped down onto the ground. He looked like a jester and had was looking at the ground where the bubble had been. He just shook his head and muttered something under his breath. He turned tward Jon and aked, "Hey you, where are those four kids that were just here?"
Jon just stared at him and replied, "They left for home, they just wanted to talk to us about some homework for school."
"Homework, you got some sence of humor kid." Suddenly a voice came from his wrist. He looked into a watch that was under his glove and the voice was heard claerly.
"That is them you fools, the ones who have the rock! Don't screw this up Jack or Ace will have you head!"
Jon and Karyn were in shock. Jon then asked the guy about his name. "Hey, were you just called Jack? You can't be Jack, we just beat him!"
The guy just turned to Jon. "So much for my secret, yeh I'm Jack of The Royal Flush Gang. The four members that you just defeated were the members of Team Heart. I am Jack of Team Spade. There are four teams out to get that rock. Of course even if you found our secret base, it doesn't matter to me. The trials to even get to the main floor are bad enough to stop any intruder. Plus you'll have to deal with The Dealers to put an end to us for good. That was your plan, wasn't it?"
"Well..yes, we were going to try and put an end to you guys because you're trying to kill us." Karyn told Jack.
"We're not trying to kill you, we'er just trying to get that stone away from you so we can take over the world. That's not asking for much is it? Besides, last time I checked, you two were killing us!"
Jon just replied, "I had no choice but to kill your team members, and one of your team members even killed Karyn!"
"Oh come on now, that hasn't even happened yet because you guys are now back in the past." Jack said with a snicker.
"JACK WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! GET THAT STONE!!" The voice said again.
"Alright alright, sheesh I'm just trying to have a conversation to get them to lower their guard so I can grab it when they'er not looking. It's called a stratagy!" Jack snaped into the watch.
Jon thought fast and held the stone in his hand. "I wish Karyn and I were 20 miles away from here and that we had the map all repared and with us when the wish is granted."
The stone flashed and Karyn Jon and the map disapeared. "Well, there they go again, wishing themselves away to some far away location, thinking they'll be safe on the other end of the wish. Oh well, time to get moveing." He snaped his fingures and a Delphite apeared next to him coming out of one of the holes that they made. "This tunnel had better put me right by them or I'll just have to revoke your afternoon snack/nap time." The Delphite looked at Jack with tears in it's eyes. "Oh alright, if it does put me near them I'll extend your snack/nap time. You know that I spoil you guys rotten." With that he jumped into the hole and vanished.
When Jon and Karyn were able to see where they were they looked at the map and saw that they were very close to the secret base of The Royal Flush Gang. They began walking when a dagger hit jon in the arm causing him to scream with pain. Jon and Karyn turned around to see Jack twirling a dager in his hand. "You know you guys are way to predictable. Now there is the matter of that stone, hand it over and I will kill you."
"Don't you mean hand it over or you will kill us?" Karyn said with a puzzled look on her face.
"Hey that workes too. Hand it over OR I'll kill you, you know that workes so much better than what I was saying."
Jon was filled with rage. "I wish that the ground under you would crumble and that you would be crushed under the falling rocks."
The ground under Jack began to crack. "There you go again with the vilence, you know that there are suport groups to help you with that anger issue." The ground then broke apart but Jack didn't fall. He just stood there ontop of a very large metal door. what little flee lande on his feet. He then looked at Jon and Karyn and said in a sad voice. "Ouch, I think you crushed some of my toenails." He then burst out with laughter and started to walk over to Jon and Karyn. Jon was about to make a wish when Jack disapeared from sight. He reapeared behind Karyn and pushed her to the ground. The ground then seemed to swallow her into it when a Delphite hole apeared and then disapeared after Karyn fell threw it. "Just so you know, Team Heart was the weakest team that we had. The rest of us were given special powers by The Dealers. So if you want to try and brave the trials of our base, go right ahead. After all, you do want to save you little girlfriend right. If you don't, we'll just turn her into a Delphite. Or maby she would make a good Queen, what do you think? Maybe we'll kill her, that would be so much fun. Well I'll let you sit here in you misery, ta ta for now chump!" He then disapeared from sight again.
Jon didn't know what to do, he held the rock in his hand an said, "I wish that Karyn was right next to me."
"THE WISH CANNOT BE GRANTED FOR THERE ARE FORCES AT WORK THAT CANNOT BE AFFECTED BY MAGIC!!"
"Perfect, now what do I do?" Jon said. He thought for a moment and then got an idea. He knew how he could get into the base, but it was exteamly dangerous.
