Jon's new programming was a robot maid program!
"I wish I had a maid uniform on," said Jon. Instantly, her clothes transformed, and she now looked like a female Jon in a skimpy dress--maid uniforms here looked like those at home but with more skin showing. "I wish we were in the nearest house with a human in it and that I'm working as that human's maid."
Karyn said, "Wait, Jon!" but found that she and Jon were no longer in the alley. Instead she was in a fancy reception area of some company building with a handsome blond man who by his face must have been a descendant of Sarah McMillan. The building must be just outside the city limits--the robot from before had turned everyone in the city into a robot, after all.
"Wipe the dust off my shoes!" said the man.
"Yes, master," said Jon and as she complied the man laughed.
"It's still amazing," he said. "I've never had a robot more human than you before working for me..." Looking back to Karyn, he said "Oh, I'm sorry, Ms...."
"Karyn," replied Karyn.
"I'm sorry, Karyn. I'm Avram, I run this place. I didn't mean to be rude to a tourist like you. She's called Jonnie, she really is a robot maid. I can't officially own her because of the Robot Rights act but she enjoys being mine."
It seemed as though Jon's wish had changed reality so Avram thought Jon was his robot maid all along. At least he didn't know Karyn was a robot. But how could she fix this or get the stone back? She wasn't sure if Jon would give it to her, and Avram probably didn't want a tourist taking things off his robot anyway.
