Ronald thought quietly. Nothing he tried seemed to work.

Well, if changing Kyla, Jon and Jay does not work, maybe changing Biff will do the trick. Ronald figured. He had wished specifically that the girls will like guys like him.

Relishing that thought, Ronald quickly excused himself from the table, muttering something about the bathroom as he headed for the hall. With his whole group nearby, he doubted he would be able to make a wish unheard, and the last thing he needed was his prospective targets being privy to his wishes. Or Biff, for that matter, though maybe he could make another candidate out of him. After all, if he was already making him a girl, why not make it someone to his liking.

Ronald chuckled at that as he found an alcove in the hall and pulled out the stone. Yes, that sounded nice. Maybe some sort of small, adorable book worm. He was liking this idea more and more.

He opened his mouth to speak the wish, only for a manicured hand to snap in his face, breaking him from his reverie. "You deaf or something?" said an impatient voice. Sarah McMillan was standing in front of him, looking more than a little impatient. "Or do you just like ignoring people for fun?"

Ronald suppressed a scowl. The last thing he needed was another interruption, least of all from a bitch like Sarah. "What do you want, Sarah?" he demanded. Why was she stopping by, anyways? Popular girls like her never gave him the time of day, and he had specifically avoided putting people with ugly personalities like hers on his list.

Sarah sighed. "I was coming by to offer...lets call it a warning," she said, tapping her foot.

Ronald couldn't help a snort of amusement. He had a stone that could alter reality itself, and this ditz was going to threaten him. "About what?"

"While she's trying to be subtle about it, it's obvious that...someone close to me has a schoolgirl crush on you. She goes in for the dorky sort, and she thinks that just because you're a loser means you must be a nice guy."

Ronald scoffed. "Like you have any room to--"

"When I know for a fact that you're really a grade-A psycho," Sarah continued, cutting him off. "And so I'm telling you for your own good, unless you want your life to become a living hell, if my sister comes around you will back. off."

That puzzled Ronald for a moment. Sarah didn't have a sister, much less one on his list, but then again who knew what changes were happening to the potential girlfriends he hadn't paid attention to yet. Still, he needed her gone if he was going to make a bookish babe out of her boyfriend. "I'll get right on that, Sarah," he assured. "Now if you'll excuse me--"

Before he could turn away Sarah reached down and snatched the wishing rock from his hand. "Uh uh uh," she admonished. "I say living hell, I mean it. You think the football team are jerks to you now? I can make sure they make you their communal punching bag. And you don't even want to know the sort of stuff the cheer squad can convince half the school about you before the day is up. You do not want to mess with me, Ronnie. So you let my sister down, and until then I'm taking this--" she looked at the stone, "--rock of yours, I guess? As collateral."

Ronald tried to keep his cool. He had been careless letting her so close, and the last thing he needed was Sarah using the stone against him. "Ah, c'mon, Sarah, I don't know what you're talking about, but now you're grabbing geology assignments?"

"You clearly care about it," Sarah retorted, tucking it away in her purse. "Why I don't know--like I established, weirdo--but you're not getting it back until you do as I say."

Ronald held the smile a moment longer, then when it was clear Sarah wasn't buying it, he lunged for the bag. Sarah dodged out of the way--giving a pointed cry of alarm as she did. "Back off, you crazy perv!" she demanded, crossing her arms protectively over her chest.

He spun on her, but Sarah's remark had not been quiet, and doubtlessly on purpose. While the halls were mostly empty, there were still enough students to draw attention. And from the stares he was getting, he could see it was decidedly not the good kind. He shot a glare to Sarah, who gave him a quick smile and covertly flipped him the bird. Then she raised her voice again. "You just go around molesting girls in halls, or something?" she demanded.

Realizing this would only get worse if he lingered, Ronald beat a hasty retreat, shrugging at the passersby and uttering a mixtures of "sorries" and "I really didn'ts" and "it was an accident, I swears". This day had already been getting out of control, and now he had just lost his best weapon. He desperately needed some way to turn things around now...
