ARD Jon grew increasingly angry and frustrated as he lay on his bed. He looked at his money drawer and the crumpled up shirt on the floor.
Picking up the stone he decided a wish was needed.
"I wish the dimension hopping Jon and Karyn were here."
DTH Jon and DTH Karyn appeared in the room.
ARD Jon put the stone down and stood up. He was the first to speak. "I've got a bone to pick with you two."
DTH Karyn was the first to reply. "Well this makes a nice change we usually surprise people when we arrive."
"That's because I wished you here."
"Actually we hopped here. Didn't we Jon?" she asked nudging DTH Jon. He was again looking at the screen of the DTH. He waited a few seconds before answering. "Kind of..."
"See there, I told..." Karyn turned to face him. "What do you mean 'kind of...'?"
"Well this isn't exactly where we were before. This is a different version of ARD Jon."
"A different version?"
ARD Jon was growing impatient at the other two engaging in conversation while he was standing there and decided to interrupt. "I don't care how you got here! I want to know what you're going to do about it."
"Do about what?" Karyn asked in confusion.
"All the stuff you stole."
"What stuff?"
"The pizza, the money, the shirt and whatever else I haven't found out about yet."
Karyn turned back to DTH Jon. "Did you steal that stuff?"
"No!" he replied.
ARD Jon interjected again. "He's lying Karyn. Don't trust him."
DTH Jon responded. "I am perfectly trustworthy. I can assure you both. I can't believe you attempted to get us here by using a wish over a few missing personal articles. It's us who require your assistance."
"Listen to yourself I don't even talk like that, you are some sort of fake or clone or something. I ain't helping you. It was my best shirt you took. "
"Ok. Let's settle this then, look at my shirt."
ARD Jon leaned over to examine DTH Jon's shirt. They appeared identical.
"Yeah what about it?" ARD Jon asked.
"They are the same shirt," he pointed to the sleeve under his armpit "they even have the same small hole."
ARD Jon looked under his own armpit and found the same hole. He stood there silently.
Karyn decided to break the silence. "Good, now we have all that sorted out, maybe you can help us?"
"What about the money?" ARD Jon asked.
DTH Jon spoke. "Look I've shown you proof it was another version of us who took your shirt. That indicates it was also another version of us who stole the money. We are blameless."
"I don't care, it's not you who is 50 dollars out of pocket."
"I would return it but I don't even have 50 dollars on me. I spent most of my money in a diner that doesn't even exist."
"Huh? You are weird. If you aren't going to help, just go away."
ARD Jon lay back down on his bed and turned his back to them.
Karyn turned to DTH Jon and gave him a really long stare.
"Ok I get the hint." he said pulling out the pad and pen.
About a minute later ARD Jon felt a gentle tapping on his back. He turned to find Karyn with a piece of paper in her hand. A hopeful smile was on her face.
"Use this with the ARD." she told him
"I'm not helping you."
DTH Jon spoke. "This isn't for our benefit. It's for yours"
ARD Jon took the note and read it. A look of disbelief grew on his face. "Will this work?" he asked.
"Why don't you try and find out but make sure you read it exactly as it is written."
ARD Jon stood up and activated the ARD.
