"Oh, Karyn, I'm so happy to be dating you!" Sarah said, putting her hand over Jon's now feminine hand.
"I thought you were still obsessed with that boy, Jon, but when you asked me out tonight, I became the happiest girl in the world!" Sarah leaned in to give her date a kiss.
Normally, Jon would have no objections to getting a kis from a beautiful girl like Sarah but for now he WAS a beautiful girl! He was Sarah!
"Excuse me Sar... Dear, but I have to go to the... little girls room."
"I'll go with you!"
"No! I mean, wait here, I ummm, I really have to go and I tend to stink up the bathroom pretty bad." Jon barely held back a smile. He suspected Sarah was somehow observing his date and wished he could see the look on her face after that 'stink' remark made in her form to Sarah!
Hesitantly entering the ladies bathroom, Jon moved to the mirror. Karyn's twin stared back at him. He resisted the urge to peek down Karyn's blouse he was wearing.
"If only I was me again and YOU were the girl I had this date with..." he said to the girl in the mirror.
"I wish this date were over so I could be with you again, Karyn! When I wished to go on a date tonight, I assumed you would be the girl I dated, but the rock picked Sar... whats-her-name at random and I'm stuck with her. And instead of being with the girl I want, I AM the girl I want. I can't bear going back out and wasting any more time with Sarah..."
He waited for the next change, but he remained Karyn. Maybe he really did love her!
Karyn was observing his soliloquy in the girl's bathroom on her computer screen and was amazingly happy. "He really does love me!" she thought, not sure whether she should laugh or cry. So she did both!
Karyn picked up the rock.
"I wish Jon would drive Sarah home and then come back here to be with me."
And so he did.
Jon said Sarah's name one more time when he saw Karyn. At that moment he desired nothing more than to be himself so he could properly greet Karyn with a big kiss!
