"Wait a second" a 9 year old voice came yelling back down the stairs!
Jon hurled her preteen self back down from her bedroom.
"Of course we can't change my age with the stone... but we CAN change my birthday!"
Grabbing the stone from Karyn, Jon wishes, " I wish today was my birthday! "
They all had to close their eyes with the bright flash, but when they opened them, the room had changed. It was now festooned with colored crape paper streamer and balloons. A banner hung over a door that read " Happy 10th Birthday! " and Jon found herself wearing a flouncy pink dress!
Karyn giggled, I guess they threw you a party, look over there, unwrapped gifts!
Jon was disgustingly fingering her pink dress, " It doesn't matter, I'm not 9 anymore"! Taking a deep breath, Jon continues...." I wish I was 16 years old ! "
And again, a bright flash made them look away......
Once again, the room changed, but this time it was not filled with balloons, but with other people! It seems the 16 year of girl Jon was also having a birthday party, but this time, it was running later then her 10th party ran.
Before anyone could say anything, a larger boy rushes over, and picking Jon up, knocking the rock from his grasp, lands a long wet kiss right on her lips!
" Happy birthday sweetheart! " With Jon still held in his arms he turn around and yells to the other party goers " Hey everyone, my girlfriend , the birthday girl has finally arrived! Start the music, let the party begin! "
