"Hello." Tiffany said as she answered the phone.
"Hi Tiff." A very male voice said. "How is your mother."
"She is doing better, Ryan." Tiffany said. "She should be back home tomorrow.
"That is great." Ryan said. "I was thinking that with your mother in the hospital and all, that maybe you would want to go grab a burger or something and then go visit her at the hospital."
Tiffany was still enough Jon that the idea of going out on a date with a guy wasn't high on her list of things to do. But it was higher than cooking for herself. And she could visit her mother until tomorrow anyway. So
"I'd love to go out to eat, but I was told that I couldn't visit mother until I go to pick her up tomorrow."
"Then how about we see a movie of something. It would keep your mind off of your mother."
"It would." Tiffany said.
"It would what?" Asked Karyn.
She had asked loud enough that Ryan had heard.
"Is Karyn there? That might explain while Larry couldn't get in touch with her. What do you say we double; you and me with Karyn and Larry?"
"I'll ask." Tiffany said, warming up some to the idea.
With the girls in agreement about double dating, plans were made.
After hanging up the phone, Tiffany looked at her closet full of clothes and said, "I have nothing to wear."
"You are such a girl." Karyn giggled.
"No I mean it. I have all of these Tiffany clothes, but I don't know what to wear. I am not used to being a girl." Tiffany said, as she began to panic about the upcoming date.
"Settle down." Karyn said. "You have tons of pretty outfits. Just pick one."
"But I am not good at this girl stuff. You have been a girl all of your life. I have just become one. I don't have a clue. "God I wish "
