Off at a movie theater, Karyn was standing in like. The movie was R-rated, but her 17th birthday was in a week. Sometimes she could get away with it anyway, but they absolutely refused to accept her ID. But this time she could do something. She took out the stone again and said "I wish I'm 17 years old."
Jon's mom cried out "I've changed! I'm younger! Being young is good but this is ridiculous!"
Jon glanced over at her and she looked like she could be in Jon's class. In fact, the small brreasts made her look even younger, though Jon wondered if they'd grow as she got older.
Jon quickly dialed the phone again and called up Karyn. Eventually she answered.
"Hi, Jon? Please be quick, I had to go to the restroom to answer this."
"Did you use the stone?"
"Sure I did. I just aged myself a week to 17 so I could get in to see ...."
"Kary, you need to stop. The stone doesn't work like you think it does. The second stone doesn't grant wishes, it makes any wishes about yourself affect whoever has the second stone. You just gave me girls' clothes, girls' hair, and you gave my Mom small breasts and made her a teenager. And you can't just put the second stone down to stop the effect, you need to give it to someone."
"Really? Ow... Hmm. I wish I was in Jon's house standing right next to Jon."
Karyn appeared out of nowhere. Jon's mother moved too, teleporting only a couple of feet so she was standing next to Jon too.
Jon's mother might have been shocked by the magic if she hadn't already been transformed. She gave Karyn the second stone, saying "I think you'd better take this, so you'll only be affected by something that affects you anyway."
Karyn nodded, and then said "I wish Jon's mother was her age from this morning."
Nothing happened, not even the usual sensation of wishing.
"It won't work," said Jon. "I think these count as normal wishes. You can't reverse the wish, and I bet the wish will change reality just like the normal wishes...."
Just then, Jon heard a car in the driveway and looked out to see his father pulling up. Then he realized they might be in more trouble. If the wishes change reality, she couldn't be his mother any more. Who would Jon's dad think she is?
