Knowing that Karyn would probably be making another wish soon (apparently Karyn wanted to use it quite a lot, and who could blame her), Jon acted quickly. He tossed the stone to his mom. "Here, take this." He thought that any wishes that will come true would be better off affecting his mother than affect him.
She held it in her hand, looking at it. "What is it?"
