"Is it real?" asked one of the men.

"Are you kidding me? This is the real deal. I mean, I know it's hard to believe that something like this could be real, but here it is. And Robinson told us where and when to pick it up. Remember that fact. If he says it exists, then I believe him. You should too." This second man was the one Jon met earlier, the one who stole Jon's stone.

"I do. I do. It just sounds like a fantastic tale, that's all."

"Maybe we could try it out ..."

"Don't even think about it. Ms. Summers is coming. Robinson told us to wait until she gets here."

"Okay, fine."

"You didn't already use it, did you?"

"Of course not." Which was a lie. He did make one wish: I wish that no one would be able to take this stone away from me, without my permission.

"Good. Robinson said that no one shall make ANY wishes until Ms. Summers gets here."

Meanwhile, outside the room among the crates and boxes of the warehouse, Jon and Karyn stood silently, until Jon spoke up.

"Who's this Robinson they're talking about? Or Ms. Summers?" Jon whispered.

"I don't know. But more importantly, what are they gonna use the stone for?"

Jon shook his head.

Then across the room they saw the exterior door open, sending in bright sunlight from the outside. In the rectangle of light, Jon saw a young woman.

"That must be her," he whispered to Karyn.

The two men came out of the office, one walking and the other in a wheelchair.

"Well, hello Ms. Summers. How are things?" asked the one walking.

"Cut it. I'm here for the item."

"Of course. Here it is." He handed her the stone. She took it and closed her hand around it.

"Thank you." As she turned around to leave, both men exchanged uneasy glances.

"Um, aren't we supposed to get something in return?" asked the one in the wheelchair.

She turns toward them. "Of course. You get Mr. Robinson's gratitude."

"Now just wait a minute." The other man started to walk towards her.

"Oh no you don't. I wish that the two of you would stay right where you are until Mr. Robinson needs you." But, because of the "limitation" Jon wished on the stone, her wish didn't come out quite the way she wanted.
