One of the men's cellphone rang and he answered it.
"Yeah, I'm here ... uh huh ... yes. Yes, I've got it ... no, you can trust him ... okay." And then he hung up.
"Who was that?" asked the other man.
"THAT was Ms. Summers. Apparently she doesn't trust you or this location. But I assured her that she can trust you."
"Okay. Is she still coming?"
"No. We have to go to a new location."
"Wait a minute. We agreed on meeting here."
"Well, she's changing the agreement."
The door to the office opened and two men came out, one walking and the other in a wheelchair.
Jon and Karyn held their breath as the two men walked past them, just fifteen feet away, and out of the warehouse.
Outside, the one in the wheelchair began to get restless and grabbed the stone away from the other man.
"Hey! What are ya doin?"
"I wish I didn't need this wheelchair," he said, hoping that the wish would make him able to walk, so he could run away and keep the stone for himself. But, because of Jon's "limitation" on the stone, he's going to get something completely different.
