After about a twenty minute drive they were entering Kimberly's mother's shop. It was a shop for children's clothes.
Jon/Kimberly followed his/her mother into the store. "I know that you don't like selling clothes, but you can help out with the children." Kimberly's mother said.
"Okay." Jon/Kimberly said.
Shortly after they arrived the store opened and shoppers began to arrive. At first Jon/Kimberly struggled to help out. Then two women entered with several children between them. Kimberly's mother suggested that Kimberly watch the older children while the mothers shopped with their younger ones.
"What is your name?" One of the girls asked Jon/Kimberly.
"Kimberly." Jon/Kimberly said. "What are your names?" She asked the children.
Soon Kimberly was entertaining the girl's, all between the age of five and seven. The girl's enjoyed that Kimberly treated them not girls not babies.
Before long, Kimberly was busy with all sorts of children. She was a bit surprised that she found that the more she worked with the children, the more she enjoyed herself.
As the work day drew to an end, Kimberly felt pretty good about how well things had gone. There was a women in the store shopping when Kimberly's mother filled the open sign to closed.
As Kimberly entertained the woman's children the woman talked with Kimberly's mother.
