Sitting down at one of the tables, Dennis couldn't help but look at Kate. She really looked a lot like Terra's friend Kathryn Yates. But Kathryn wasn't like Kate. Kathryn was a stickler when it came to following rules and he even remembered hearing that she wanted to become a nun when she grew up. But this girl? Becoming a nun seemed to be the furthest thing from her mind, and she obviously had a problem with following rules.
"Kate," Dennis said, noting the similarity of names, in addition to the two girls' general appearances. "Do you know someone by the name of Kathryn Yates?" Maybe they were cousins or something. He supposed that could have been possible. But for some reason, he felt that they weren't.
The apparent Goth girl stared off into space, as if she were thinking about his question. Then a moment later, she blinked and smiled. "Ready to get some pizza?"
Dennis looked oddly at her. For some reason, she deliberately ignored his question. Although, it almost seemed like she was in some sort of trance or daze there for a moment. What was that about?
Noticing that Kate was becoming uncomfortable with Dennis' (or rather Denise's) stare, Dennis broke the silence and said "Sure."
Kate nodded, then flagged down one of the waitresses, to get some menus.
