Before Jon leaves the locker room he decides to take a look at himself in the mirror. He realizes he hasn't taken a look in the mirror all day. He needs to see his reflection to remind himself of who he really is and figure out how far Karen's wish has stretched.
He's relieved to see his own reflection in his mirror. Sure, it's his own reflection in ridiculous women's clothing, but it is still is own reflection, at least, with his own face and his own body. So there haven't been any physical changes. Just as Jon suspected. But that still doesn't change the fact that the entire world seems to think he's become a girl.
At least the clothing isn't as bad as it could be. Sure, the jeans are tight, but they aren't as tight as they could be. The stretchy material actually fits him pretty well. A little TOO well, maybe. At least it's not a skirt or a pair of tiny shorts or something. And the shirt isn't so bad either. It is very feminine because of the flowery white print and the ruffles and the sleeveless arms, some kind of babydoll blouse thing, but at least it's loose and surprisingly comfortable. And the shoes could have been high heels, but instead they're just flip-flops. And the bra is annoying, but it isn't so bad, either. The worst is the thong. Why Karen had thrown in a thong he didn't know, but he didn't like it.
Jon felt something in the pocket of his too-tight jeans, so he took it out and looked at it. It was a little billfold sort of thing, like his own but daintier. He flips it open and sees his same old student ID card in the front slot, but to his surprise the picture has him wearing a pink tank top. He pulls out the pictures and sees some of his familiar pictures, ones of Karen and his sister and his parents, but instead of his usual homecoming picture, the one with him and his ex-girlfriend Amanda, there's one of him in a fancy gown, holding hands with Mike Niedelmeyer. And there's another of him in a dress and Adam Jackson kissing beneath a tree. And there are a couple more that show him, or younger versions of him, in feminine clothing. But they all show his male body still. This is strange. Apparently when Karen changed his clothes, his wallet, which had been stuck in his pocket, had changed as well.
He has to admit, if this is what he looks like to the rest of the world, he must be the ugliest girl in the world. But judging from the looks he's been getting from other guys no one else seems to agree.
The doors of the locker room around the corner open up, and Jon can hear the girls start to come in.
