Jon nervously stepped out on to the playing field with the rest of the class he was half expecting them to start laughing at him as soon as he walked out but they didn't.
Mrs. Wilson shouted at him to join the line of girls who were getting ready to do some sprints round the track.
"Come on Jon, normally you are a lot quicker than that" she said to him as he crossed the finish line last out of the ten girls in the race.
"I'm really not feeling too good this morning" Jon replied. "Can I go and see the school nurse please" he asked.
"Well I suppose so the lesson is nearly over anyway" Mrs. Wilson told him. With that Jon headed back to the locker room to get changed.
