I was just looking around for some videogames when I saw a pair of silver rings lying on an old wooden table. I'm not sure what it was that drawed me to it. Perhaps because the rings shined in the sun, or the reflection that caught my attention or the the fact that they looked like the only worthwhile thing here. I picked up the rings and examined them up closer. The rings had an engraving on the front, a crudely drawn image of a person. I was still at them when I suddenly felt a hand touching my shoulder. I turned around, looking frightened the man who touched me calmed me down.

"Take it ease sonny. I was just curious at what you found." He asked me friendly as I showed him the rings. His eyebrows raised a little as he took a look at the rings. "Ah, those are the rings I inherited from my late aunt. Weird things. When she passed away she only let me inherit those rings."

"Was she rich?" I asked curious.

"Hmm, let me tell you. She was so rich she could buy the whole town and still have money enought to live in a huge mansion." The old man said with a slight hint of jealousy.

"Wow. So how much do you want for them?" I asked pointing to the rings.

"Well, you look like a nice kid to me. So how about five bucks?" He asked. I gave him the money and he seemed to be glad to be rid of the rings.

"Kids are you ready to go home yet?" I suddenly heard my mother asking. When I wanted to thank the old man, he was gone off. I quickly walked over to my mother's car trying to forget the weird old man.

Back home I ran to my room to look at the rings closer. They still didn't look anything special, so I decided to put one of the rings. When I did though I felt a tingle of electricity going through my body, like something was activated. I tried to pull off the ring again, but it was stuck. I pulled and pulled and it didn't move an inch.

I was still thinking what to do when..... entered my room.
